If you look from the left side next to the stairs.
I can see the similarity in architecture in the arch with the temples and other ancient buildings in Thailand and other far Eastern countries. There is a hint of that which is far more pronounced as you move along Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand

because of this

thanks for the map, tell me more about Chola

Chola empire were a Tamil Indian empire, they for a time being conquered a lot of South East Asia to control the trade route to Eastern Asia.

because of this

Indian influence like Buddhism and Hinduism has been in South East Asia before the Cholas. This is because of the trade between India and South East Asia. They mixed their culture with Indian culture. Many languages there are influenced by Sanskrit and other Indian languages.

Wow where is this ?? A very nice fusion of South Indian and North India temple architecture.

The front Gopuram is typical of all South Indian temples and the one above the sanctum sanctorum is North Indian.

This is Birla Temple,Hyderabad:yahoo:

Yes..It is a fusion of South indian and north indian type of temples..
As u said, the gopuram is south indian style but the sanctum sanctorum is puri jagganath temple style.
