I was referring to post-1971 regimes.You do not really understand that Rome was not built in a day. And do not forget to pay thanks to President Ayub Khan during whose time family planning was initiated. All others after him followed his good example in this field. He was the initiator.
Ayub was the last regime under which Pakistan was on track to become a socially progressive and economically developed nation.
Since then both BD and Pak went backwards in many aspects.
BD population was around 70 million in 1971 which almost doubled by the time BKZ took office.
