And there were also the 2020 provocations by Turkey.

What I meant though is that Greece and Pakistan are similar in many ways.

Both Greece and Pakistan have a bigger rival country to their east and are surrounded by semi-friendly countries who are still causing problems to both (Afghanistan,Iran for Pakistan and Albania and FYROM for Greece)who often side with their rivals.

Both Greece and Pakistan have significantly smaller populations and economy compared to Turkey and India.

Both countries have a big traditional ally in the north that could help them against their enemies. For Greece that is Russia and for Pakistan that is China. Don't ask about Russia,it's a big discussion and has to do with Russians fighting the Ottomans in the past and helping the Greeks and also because of prophecies.

Both countries have better pilots than their enemies.

Both countries have had Americans nagging about weapons and spare parts deliveries at some point.

Greece and Turkey had population exchanges,Pakistan and India had population exchanges.

Both countries have been betrayed by their British "allies" in the past.

Pakistan has Kashmir which is divided into Azad Kashmir,Indian occupied Kashmir and Chinese occupied Kashmir. Greece has Cyprus which is divided into the Greek Cypriot part and the Turkish part with the British having 2 huge bases on the island.

And both India and Turkey have a big propaganda machine often producing fake news with two populist leaders who are being voted by the majority of the conservative,illiterate or religiously fanatics of their countries.

And even though we have our differences,sometimes only a Greek can understand and Turk and a Pakistani an Indian and we are still connected by things like music,food,some common words and habits,eastern mentality and hospitality.
