''Turkish military bombs PKK positions in Northern Iraq

The Turkish military conducted air operations in the southeastern Hakkari province and bombed PKK camps located in Northern Iraq on Monday, the military announced on its website a day later.

The military said in its statement, "Accommodation centers, underground shelters, and weapon pits in Hakkari as well as Northern Iraq's Metina, Zap, Avaşin-Basyan, Hakurk, Gara, and Qandil regions determined to be used by the subversive organization [PKK] have been destroyed by the air operations."
