What's new

The fall of Sassanid

If you say so.

There's a reason you write using a script based off of Arabic, and call it Farsi instead of Parsi.

He wrote a lot of them in Farsi because that was, along with Urdu, the lingua franca of Muslims throughout South Asia for centuries. But that's just a language, so I don't see why it makes some Iranians feel special.

I wonder if the reverse could have happened...

Because you're not worth the effort, but make no mistake, most of your neighbours (Turkey, Pakistan and the Arabs across the Gulf) are more powerful than Iran either economically, militarily, or both.
All of it if you say so but the fact is something else.
By the way I wonder who were the people who wrote Arabic grammar.
And if you font knew the history of ilkhan dynasty then discussing it with you is useless.

And if it won't worth the trouble why then moan about iran actions on daily bases ?

I only berate Iranian history in order to remind the idiotic nationalists that the world does not revolve around Tehran.
sadly you didn't read the history correctly . after Afghans , Nader alone ruled more than that 7 year over Pakistan

Yep, that's exactly what happened. They went from city to city, killing thousands.

Unfortunately, they couldn't Pashtunise Iran the same way the Arabs Arabised it, or depopulate it to the same degree that the Mongols did. And I don't think there will be another attempt at it, since Iran is pretty militarily weak right now and is going to be for the foreseeable future (so nobody needs to put the country in it's place).
Iran was not arabized

Islam spread to the lands within the borders of the Persian Empire. Would Islam be restricted to the Arabian Peninsula if the Sassanids wouldn't fall? Would Zoroastrianism and Christianity be the two major world religions?

And after the Afsharids, Iran would never rule over anyone else again.
Honestly You don't knew much about rise and fall of the nations and again rise of them and the continuation of the cycle.
We have been around for a very long time and we understand it very well.

No country in the world is even equal to our shit.

We are cradle of civilization and home of plenty of empires.

Do you know something Iranologists don't?

"Iran was indeed Islamized, but it was not Arabized. Persians remained Persians. And after an interval of silence, Iran reemerged as a separate, different and distinctive element within Islam, eventually adding a new element even to Islam itself. Culturally, politically, and most remarkable of all even religiously, the Iranian contribution to this new Islamic civilization is of immense importance. The work of Iranians can be seen in every field of cultural endeavor, including Arabic poetry, to which poets of Iranian origin composing their poems in Arabic made a very significant contribution. In a sense, Iranian Islam is a second advent of Islam itself, a new Islam sometimes referred to as Islam-i Ajam. It was this Persian Islam, rather than the original Arab Islam, that was brought to new areas and new peoples: to the Turks, first in Central Asia and then in the Middle East in the country which came to be called Turkey, and of course to India. The Ottoman Turks brought a form of Iranian civilization to the walls of Vienna."[1]

You write in an Arabic-based script, you have many Arabic loan-wards in your language, and much of your DNA is shared with Arabs.

You got Arabised.

These countries were us and spoke Persian:

Btw this is map of Achaemenid empire
Just because they were part of the same empire doesnt mean they had the same culture or spoke the same language.

Many words even in Quran are Persian & it was Iranian whom wrote Arab Grammar and books ...

A country like Egypt got Arabsized they talk Arabic we don't.

It kinda was, even if they don't admit it.

Lmao the first civilisations of the world didn't even come from Iran, chill out.
The oldest civilizations, kingdoms & empires in the world have come from IRAN.

All the links have been sorted here:

Our script is because Persians made Arabic grammer to teach and learn Quran easier. Idol worshipper arabs were nor grammer makers (99% of them were unlettered) nor hadith writers [most of Hadith writers are Persians]. They have been always in their store worshipping Jahiliyan culture and endless tribally wars.

* Before Islam two arab tribes fought each other for 40 years for a camel.

The oldest civilizations

No, they come from Iraq (Mesopotamia), Pakistan (Indus Valley), Egypt (Ancient Egypt), China (I can't recall the name), and there are a few others. But none of them came from Iran.

Less than 4%:

Oh it's much more than that:

Our script is because Persians made Arabic grammer to teach and learn Quran easier.

Whatever makes you feel better.

Idol worshipper arabs

Calm down, they were Muslim before you were. Remember, Rasulullah (peace be upon him) was an Arab, not a Persian.

nor hadith writers [most of Hadith writers are Persians]

But the Quran is in Arabic.

Nobody denies that before Islam, Arabs were a brutal, savage people, but so was pretty much the entire world. You guys are far too bigoted towards them.

Many words even in Quran are Persian

It's in Arabic, not Farsi.

it was Iranian whom wrote Arab Grammar and books ...

Nobody is denying that Persians have contributed to Islam/Muslims significantly, but you guys take it to another extreme by being bigoted towards the Arabs.
