What's new

The fall of Ottamans and rise of British made PGCC countries

Dont count out Pakistan also brother. We have just now emerged from decades of corruption and puppet leaders to make our mark on the world.

There will be many surprises coming from our nation in the near future.

Yes of course. I highly rate Pakistan as an emerging Muslim society in the Turkish & Iran model, I have mentioned on other thread.

It is a shame I see some Iranian posters not acknowledge Pakistan either despite the help a strong Pakistan would provide it. Some of them even attack Pakistan on this forum which is very sad and short sighted!

They are our brothers and sisters, they will come around in sha Allah.

You were undeveloped and uneducated most of your history, let's be honest you still are.

Look at the history of the Arabs and history of the Turks, look at the Umayyads and the Abbasids, Baghdad, Andalusia. Look even further back and you'll see ancient civilizations recorded and flourished in Arabia.
Arabs brought the Turks as "Mamlooks" you know what that means in Arabic? it means the "Owned ones" yes, you were slaves brought from the steppes to serve in private armies, then the slave soldiers became generals, then they committed coupes and took over and the rest is history.

Don't speak to me about education when you can still see our ancient Architecture and the residue of the discoveries of our scientific institutions still reverberating throughout the modern world. Our language permeating all the scientific lingos in all fields.

The genetics you are bad-mouthing are the genetics of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) the genetics of geniuses like Ali and Khalid ibn Alwalid. The Turks without the Arabs are literally nothing, no better than the Mongols. The only way for Turks to have influence outside of their Arab gifted territories is by tracing roots to common destinies with the Arabs. Same with the Mullahs of Iran, whose only hope of spreading their tentacles outside of Persia is by their head rulers, the Ayatollahs, claiming that they are of Qurashian Arab lineage, of Arab DNA.

Turks have maintained military rule and without a doubt ruled over an important militarized culture, but that's it. You have no culture, your language is weird and insignificant, and has no written form or letters, everything is borrowed. The only reason you have a known history was through the religion that was revealed to, carried, and preached by the Arabs, written in Arabic words. What does that say about you? yes it says that you're not people of science or culture, but hey you created cannons and stuff so I guess that it is something.

And by the way, for recent history, most of the Arab world was colonized, some even getting independence in the 70s. And oil was cheap and insignificant til the 80's, and this is where Saudi Arabia was able to purchase and nationalize its oil industry. People around this time were just barely educated. So to see where Saudi Arabia is now compared to Turkey is truly how you measure things up. Both in development and when it comes to being true to our Ummah.

Look at where we were and where we are today, Turkey was one of the first countries to recognize Israel, and even now, they are adding more flights and increasing trade with them, and look the non-existent recognition of Israel from Saudi Arabia. Look at foreign bases and Turkey with it's Incirlik Air Base, a stepping mat for the U.S. where Saudi Arabia has no foreign bases at all. I can keep going but I think this is enough for you.

  • Popeye-I and Popeye-II missiles.
  • Popeye-II surface-to-air missiles – $150 million.
  • 10 Heron UAV - $183 million.
  • Arrow anti-ballistic-missiles. (Agreed in principle by Israel; approval by the United States pending.)
  • The agreement provided exchange of pilots eight times a year; allowed Israeli pilots to practice "long range flying over mountainous land" in Turkey's Konya firing range; and permitted Turkish pilots to train at Israel's computerized firing range at the Nevatim airfield.[116]
  • The two navies conducted maneuvers during Operation Reliant Mermaid (the U.S. also participated) in January 1998."

This is a textbook case of Arab racial supremacy. Exactly what Islam came to root out of Arab society.

Learn to become Muslim first, then you will discover what made early Muslims so great. Put your own interests second to the faith and Islamic brotherhood.

For the record, both Arabs and Turks had a great history before Islam, it was sweetened by the deen.

Hazrat Abu Bakr was an Arab genealogist and cultural reservoir of knowledge of the various Arab tribes, the Prophet Muhammad saws brought him along to brief him before talking with any tribe.

So being racist against Arabs is not racist but defending my heritage against unfair attacks and stating facts is racist.

You people maintain the hateful and racist rhetoric that generlizes Arabs and you forget all about the so-called Islamic ummah when you do that and that Arabs are part of that Ummah.

But when Arabs state facts and defend themselves oh no, how dare they bring race or ethnecity into the subject! they are damaging Islamic unity. This is the lamest and saddest crybaby excuse when you are the type to offend first.

Well too bad, you can't keep playing this game any longer. If you're insecure about your national identity and history and how they fare against others don't bring up the discussion for the purpose of putting others down.

Instead of selective reading, go back and read the second part of my post.

I don’t agree with the assertion that Arabs never had a history. That is simply false.

The greatest point in Arab history was with the revolution brought by Islam, and our Arab progenitors found all of life’s solutions in the simple message taught by our Nabi saws.

However, at this current point in time, Arabs are divided and fractured against each other, and it has been this way since the ill-thought out Arab revolt.

Our civilization is one in which all of our people took active part: be they Arab, Berber, Persian, Turk, Pakistani, etc.

Complains about Anti Arab racism goes on a rant of Anti Turkism. You Arabs have a habit of blaming Turks for everything.

By the way its an honour to be a Mamluk and a Ghulam.

Look at that Slave soldiers becoming the leaders of their masters. How embarassing.

By the way slave soldiers of the Muslim armies were actually one of our best soldiers of all time.

Mamluks, Ghulams and Jannisaries were one of the most feared soldiers of all time and conquering land and spreading Islam far and wide.

Nothing more deadly than a soldier who has nothing to lose and loyalty to Allah and to the deen of Islam.

Muslims didn't invent anything, Your contribution to science is jack s**t.

History suggests otherwise
No it doesn't, The European reformists were angry at the Catholic Church's backwardness so they coined the term "Islamic Golden age" and started hyping "The Islamic inventions" to criticize the Church.

. .
60 million British rules 450 million Arabs

and today Arab world undeveloped and uneducated and slave ....
the TURKS protected all Islamic world from Christians since 1096 Crusade
but after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire , the US ,the UK ,France,Israel,Russia,Iran killed millions of Arabs in Algeria,Libya,Palestine,Iraq,Syria, etc

even Arabs killed each others .... and there is not democracy in Arab world

btw without oil reserves S.Arabia, the Uae would be similar to Yemen
I think UAE woukd he somewhat ok when oil runs out or replaced. But all other muslim nations...

The fact is the muslim civilization have bever invented anything of value. Only if they let go of religion will they progress. Religion is holding then back.
Culture is different from religion. Politics and living laws have to ve separated from relition. It is possible to hold on to native culture and traditions while discarding some elemnts of religion. The west did it successfully.
