The Criticism LCA Tejas

Get something as lethal as PL-15 and KLJ-7A customized, Then match with Tejas, Until then, No comparison bro, Simply out of the league.
It's a very good platform with Python, Astra, derby for A2A mode and has great package for A2G missions.
It will be good platform for Air defense / inception, rejecting it with prejudice it a mistake, but if it make you happy, please be our guest.

After all we need happy neighbors!.

:-):-)

After witnessing the recent events, i must say IAF needs more than just Rafales and mk2

and the range of PL-15 is above 200 km, so when your Tejas in good position to firs ASTRA/derby its already be destroyed by PL-15:agree:

Probably! There are more capable people in charge and they know better than use.

On paper, may be. Reality is completely different there are too many variables to assume clear win for one platform over other.

Pls confirm radar range of jf 17 block 3 before claiming anything. Thanks
170 km

its a same class in AMRAAM C-7 or slightly in better range American admit its range and these variables are not further reduce the range of your ASTRA/Derby??? which has a range of 110-100 km respectively:p::enjoy:

Hal tejas does not come under failure category.

Half tejas mk1 = jf 17 block 2

Hal tejas mk1a = jf 17 block 3

Not sure, how it count to be failure because it's open a gate for new aircrafts.

HAl Tejas mark 2
ORCA
Etc...

Ehhhh okay let me tell you about planes and air forces..... when a daddy and mommy love each other ..... oh sorry That story Isn’t age appropriate for you ... so when a plane design is complete
You need a place called a factory to build more of those, they require something called assembly lines, these lines need something called parts it takes some time to start producing planes as an echo system is needed. Given India’s track record it’s going to take at minimum 5 years to get this going

once these planes roll out you need to stand up operational squadrons this would need
-train at least 3 pilots / plane with India’s record on recruitment this will take years
- generate operational and combat sops things like what to do when an engine stalls as no one had ever flown this in an operational squadron setting
-You would also need to train maintenance staff another few years
-You would need a spares echo system again multiple years.....

as limited standard operating procedures (sop) exist since there are no other examples of this jet. India’s previous examples Of induction had a foreign vendor with sops, meaning every thing needs to be set from scratch, meaning at least at least 10 years to raise the first 40 jets or so......Also there isn’t a pilot, maintaince, spares tree to get all this.

you are comparing this to the Jf-17 with 150 operational aircraft and another 100 block 3’s And 4,s to come

how Naive are you? It would be much much smarter to start work on the medium and heavy jets instead as these planes would be outdated before the become effective in 10+ years a lot like the hf_24 Marut

Pls confirm radar range of jf 17 block 3 before claiming anything. Thanks

you want us to give the enemy classified military data.., lol , we would need the jamming and combat radar frequencies of the Rafael before we tell you this..... wait we have this from our exploits in France...

All you talk just BS....

Assembling is just another things, Indian is doing from many years and Pakistan started with jf 17 and not alone, Chinese are making also and dilivering to PAK.

Jf 17 is = to su30mki when comes to indigenous product with OEM attached.

About Hal tejas gives different level of infrastructure to india. Now we can develop and make new aircrafts with such as value work experience.

Example - you need a time to make a software but upgrade version of software are easily can be available. Hal tejas mk1a is just upgrade of basis Hal tejas mk1. 2-3 years will be more than enough for that.

And new aircrafts will be easy to make once you have such a experience by making 4th generation fighter aircraft from the scratch.

Wherein Pakistan yet to start from design, wing testing tunnel etc and other inportant infrastructure for developing a new aircraft....

we have different strategy than India, as for your info JGT is designed by CAC for PAF we are currently in a learning stages , there are few wind tunnels testing complexes (supersonic/hypersonic) in Karachi/Lahore, and we are developing Aviation city (near to kamra) for R&D

Hal tejas mk1a is getting with range 290 km.
EL/M-2052
However, as far as EL/M-2052 Elta HAL radar is concerned, it is a GaN-based radar with 1500 TRMs. It can track 64 targets simultaneously. It has a range of 290 km in the Air to Sea Mode while in the Air to Air Mode, it is rumored to be between 150 to 200 km for a 1 sq.m RCS, not 3 sq.m

Sir, they same I am saying that you are in process to developing.

We have crossed that process now because oh hal tejas.

No one can denied that yes, we are late at least 5 years but it opened the gate for developing of new aircrafts.

For 5m2 air targets KJ-7A has range of 170 km max range is classified currently (no one knows)
And what happened to your Indigenous Uttam AESA for MK-1A????

Tejas radar can detect target (1 Sq. m) at distance around 200KM, max rage is classified. JF17 is inferior and come out looser.

Because of mentality of our politicians/decision makers we have late to enter this field of indigenous development and R&D of our Military equipment but lots of projects of R&D is going on in Pakistan

and your right bro you're go through the process of how to R&D/Manages the big military projects:tup:

Its all about tactics, to exploits your opponent weakness, do you think that air warfare is that easy, radar range of fighter jet is enough for kill your enemy??? if your radar detect low RCS targets that doesn't means you can track and your enemy at that range from your BVR

I was trying to say same in previous posts that PL15 with long range does not make Tajes crash before take off. It depends on mission objectives, tactics, EW suits, support plate forms, terrain and more variables.

On paper Tajes is/ will be better platform and will prove a very good point defense fighter and bomb truck for shallow bombing raids.
