What's new

The Bollywood movie that’s beaten Star Wars at China’s box office

That's good. Now I can ask for recommendations.
So anything new you can recommend?
;)
I don't go cinemas anymore since I've got my whole set up at home. I watch thru Netflix on TV. At least these guys don't censor.

Never heard of it. Did you watch it? If it has singing and dancing please don't recommend.
You got the wrong guy for recommendations.
I have this TV box thingy connected to the internet where we watch a lot of programs for free.
Also with the Kodi App.
But I mainly only watch the News.

Okay bro. Never mind.
Enjoy your day. :)

Very few. I can't recall any infact.

In India, Hollywood and Bollywood rule. And our market is actually very open. There are no limits on foreign films etc.
There are. The limits are usually set by Indian media, which has a free reign in China bashing.

China is #2 in the list.

In the end of the day or conclusion, Indian, Vietnamese and Filipino watched more Chinese movies/tv series than the other way around. We know EA (CN, KR, JP) film market is a powerhouse.

I do not know why some Indians think it's cool to state their nationality in the comment section over there, the video below. Yes, Indians dig Chinese tv series too, especially idol drama. Idol drama is an EA thing. You won't find that in another market. White nations are over-run by crazy feminazis, so they have little to no female "traits", other than boobs hanging out, degenerate culture and hypersexualization, draining away the positive energy from the men... look up: "yoga pants mgtow" for more info. No idol drama genre in the West. So westerners, Spanish speakers, Latins, Indonesians, and the list goes on, had to consume EA tv series.

Btw, Star Wars is a joke in China.
I read the reviews on the Chinese movie sites so know this.
So yea, that Indian film in the first post had beaten a mediocre Hollywood film.

It's a pretty well known classic Indian song. I really like this song as well and find it very relaxing to listen to it. Maybe your Uighur classmate heard this Chinese version?
Oh yeah.... This song proved and major evidence China-India unification began to happen long time ago. @Bharat Muslim :woot::cheesy:

Hehe,my classmate is not yoghur and I feel I am old.seems I never whach this Chinese program.I remember no feme shrill voice in this song.maybe there is another version of this song?

Indian movies are doing really well at Chinese box Office.

There are very few Indian movies released in China in the first place, and all are doing tremendous business as of now.

@AndrewJin @Beast

This movie did not draw much crowd in India like Aamir's other movie like Dangal. Surprised by its success in China.

There is no set formula for box office success in China. Maybe they are drawn to women empowered movies because of their society has seen that transformation.

Were there any Chinese movies released in India?
Last one I saw was IP man. That was two years ago. It was one good entertaining movie.

It is to the credit of the Chinese that they are able to accept and embrace talented foreigners and open to their good ideas and practices.
Closed and Narrow minded Gangas in Free India will not understand such intellectual behavior.
.

You have to understand that it goes both ways. We appreciated many Chinese movies from Bruce Lee, Donnie Lin and Jackie Chan.
