We are talking about medium and heavy weight twin engine 4th gen Jets not a 2nd or 3rd gen. Talking about a country where half of the people went to sleep on an empty stomach is light year ahead today than a country whose been branded a somewhat failed nation ,whose citizens afraid to call them Pakistani but Indian in foreign land and not to forget the most number of terrorist per sq km theory.

@Oscar will confirm to you that failing the release of F-16, J-10 was an outside option.
Now you are talking about J-10B, which appeared in last year or two, where as the Block-52s were released in 2005....who knows in it's current configuration, the PAF may look at it.

Nope, it also matters what US weapon and techs are approved by the US government. You can have all the money you want, but unless they clear AIM9X you don't have HOBS missile capability, without modern EW and passive sensors, you will be limited to an active puls doppler radar, unless they don't clear the necessary SEAD equipment, you will find it difficult to do such roles and without stand off weapons, you have to cross borders to do strikes. All this are limit in PAFs F16s by US export restrictions and in all these fields the J10 and JF17 simply offers more to PAF.
