most of Muslim countries would love to purchase it with its high class technologies. Azerbaijan is one of them as nobody really sell jets to Azerbaijan
I hope we will see this happen. That bird looks much more than a trainer aircraft.

Bad news for Hürkuş. Ukrainian President wants to buy Brazilian Super Tucano. So Turkey has lost a potential client . I assume also that relationship with Russians and foreign policy affect on Hürküş's export success and strategic partnership with Ukraine.

If you invite Russian Invaders from Crimea you will face consequences.

Киев хочет бразильские военные самолеты

Probably more to do with the fact that Hürkuş-B is not yet fully developed. Hürkuş-A is only of civilian standards. Turkey is still on the lower rung of manoeuvrable aircraft development. I highly doubt any country has made a serious proposal about this aircraft, rather than "expression of interest".

it is my favorite jet... with AESA radar and Turkish version of AA and ground missiles, many countries including Azerbaijan would love to purchase it... Turkey need local engine, only thing missing...
is the hurjet's weight, fuel weight and other specs released yet or not??

only one thing is changed, which will probably change all these numbers..
engine is upgraded to 20,000 lbf EJ200 engine. It is also lightest engine fro power to weight ration and also has less area for fans for less drag compare to f414 used in SAAB NG jet. however, F414 has 22000 lbf. It is up to Turkish designer to take the advantage of less drag and use it to compete with the jet

if turkey manage to secure EJ-200 engine deal with UK, the plane can achieve a thrust to weight ratio equal to 1 for 9 tons take off weight. it's better than almost all trainers available now. depending on it's possible future radar it can be a good light weight fighter too. right now the best trainer in the market is Chinese L-15 and it's a respectable design for both training and combat but i am very much optimist about hurjet, it can easily out perform L-15.
is it clear when it will perform it's first flight??
