Man we are effectively building a dual fighter fleet of our own, with one air superiority fighter and one medium performance multi-role fighter. Much like the F15-F16 pair, or the F22-F35 pair. Because with a payload of 3 ton, two engines and a speed of 1.2 mach hurjet is no less than an F16.
The inclusion of F35 in the equation suggests that hurjet will be more like an A-10 warthog, but we already have hurkus c for that. So it's kind of a gray area. Any opinions on this?

If We manage to develop this beauty in lines of targeted performance parameters envisaged at the beginning of the program, Turkish Republic will have reached a strong aerial deterrent, charisma and so words to be spoken at international area will be attributed more meaningful than words spoken today.

Think of the impact if that beauty has indigenous engines.

The F22 and F35 are both Stealth and complement each other.

Only, the TF-X is Stealth. Not Hurjet - in the light of first informations (His appearance) -.

It is good to have march 1.2 jets. In the future, when Turkey will have scramjet or other these types of missiles that( to be used air to air or air to ground(naval objects too)) needs to have speed first to be able fired. The "trainer aircraft" will feel that gap. Turkey also has plans to develop domestic Turbofan engine 30kn by 2023. With all these features together, everybody will run to purchase it... imagine Turkish EO&EA pod, Aselfir, AIR to Air missiles, AESA radar( thanks to AESA radar, the jets shouldnt be too big to be able to have bigger radar for better performance. Turkey with new design based on this concept, will simply kill it...

Hurkush will not be able to fight with other jets such as f16, because it has the engine in nose where should be the radar. It is gonna be a ground support vehicle. The new trainer aircraft will be the real game changer as it will bring a lot of firepower to Turkish air force...

Actually i am also skeptical about 3t payload and 1.2 march.

As you know, Italian M-345 HET is almost the best basic trainer jet which use JT15D-5D Pratt & Whitney Canada and FJ44-4M as you mentioned(Italian air forces specially required it).

The problem is
1) JT15D-5D Pratt & Whitney Canada has 3,045 lbf (13,540 N) and FJ44-4M has 3400 LBF

2) Italian M-345 with JT15d-5D
engine can lift 1000kg payload and speed 795 K/H
for wikipedia its even done with Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5C turbofan engine, 14.19 KN (3,190 lbf) power.

the question is how can Turkish jet trainer can lift 3T payload with little bit more performance with engine?

I believe, Turkish jet Trainers loaded weight will be 3T as Italian M-345(3200kg). I really hope that im wrong, just wanted to bring up what is in my mind.

The M-345 is single-engine aircraft.
Hurjet is twin-engine aircraft, so Power=2x3400=6800 LBF.

Someones mixing M-345 with M-346 which is more advanced.
The proposed values of Hürjet (1.2 mach max speed, 3 tons of payload and max of 45000 ft altitude) approximates M-346 not M-345.
M-346 powered with 2 Honeywell F124-GA200 and these engines has a total trust of 12500 lbs (2x2850 kg).

Ok, the problem is M-346 is powered by 2 times more powerful engine and f124-ga200 is the best engine in its class for weight to thrust ratio...
Seems like they really have to come with crazy and innovative to be able to reach that goal... which is very hard..
any idea?
