Terror attack thwarted at Karachi Naval Dockyard

It was unnoticed by media since the Defence Authorities 'blacked it out' or as @metalfalcon says; "they hid it." That is the only explanation.

This was done very smartly. Historically, what happens there is that every single terrorist attack is put on the live media and to some degree glorified as the last thing you want is, these terrorists getting free marketing. And seeing the outcome on TV, their fellow terrorists and support structure either hides or runs away.

This time, the military blacked out all media and mentioning of it, they finished the deal, took the captured ones, interrogated them immediately and captured a bunch others involved and supportive of this. No media coverage means half the failure for these terrorists right away as they do these nasty, barbaric attacks to gain marketing and spread fear through the media. Well done PN!

And the "Cancer" of 'insider involvement' is getting more and more exposed. Earlier it was "Zia's children" at work, now "Zia's Grand-chldren" are displaying their prowess

I don't think you read my entire post and I don't know what you are on about.....the attack didn't happen due to PN's own wishes, no one wants to be attacked. But are you upset because I told you that PN dealt with this very professionally and then kept silent until the entire gang was captured as they didn't see it on live media and ran away when they say it going south??

The even itself is sad and shows you how serious the threat of terrorism is. Your military is battling with the terrorists right now so there would be retaliation as these Talibastards are everywhere in your country. Hopefully, when the military finished up in the FATA areas, the next focus will be to clean up these big cities from this Taliban Cancer that's causing all this.

Attack is prevented. Thwarted. We don't have bollywood heroes like you but still the response was very effective and appropriate. So much so that not only 4 attackers were arrested alive but some others were arrested within hours from different parts of Karachi due to information gathered by those terrorists.No asset of PN was damaged.

What more effectiveness you want from PN? Become Sunny Deol of anti-Pak movies. Sorry sir we don't have such heroes.

Because some of them might well be foreign funded to harm Pakistan strategic defence assets. I don't normally believe in conspiracy theories but Pakistan is a play ground for different intelligence agencies thanks to continuous weak governments.

Had you listened to the US's advise back in 2002 and did the operation that's under going today, SO MANY people would still be alive and so many terrorist attacks would've never happened. The fault comes on you again to not clean up the area on your side and safeguard it for your interests when you knew that the RAW was building many cultural centers right on the border in Afghanistan.

If you are implying India, dont you think we would want the terrorists to try and attack your nuclear assets? What is more strategic for Pakistan than those?

So come out of the mist of illogical nationalistic jingoism and open your self to alternate theories as well. What do terrorists want ? Max publicity.. What kind of attacks give them those? Attacks on Pakistani military assets. Because attacks on civilians have become so routine that most News papers have even stopped reporting them.
