Please do not spread disinformation, and if you are unaware, get yourself educated first. In 1946 provincial assembly elections, out of a total of 175 seats of Punjab, the Muslims League won 73 seats, whereas 20 went to Unionist, 51 (mostly Hindu) won by Congress and Akalis (all Sikhs) got 22. Which basically means that among the Muslims of Punjab, Muslim League was more popular and Punjab did vote for Muslim League.

Pakistan was even named by a guy named Chaudhary Rahmat Ali, who was an ethnic Punjabi. Iqbal was a Kashmiri. Majority of partition's dead were ethnic Punjabis regardless of religion. AJK liberation was aided by Waziristani Lashkars. Pakistan's first 6 months were financed by Bahawalpur princely state. Where do you come in, remind me?

The first part of your post is absolutely correct, and the second one partially. 'Sir' Sikanader Hayat and his Unionist party was left with no choice but to support Pakistan following the results of 1946 provincial assembly elections where Unionists won just 20 seats compared to Muslim League that grabbed 75, and that too when the Punjab's Muslim vote was divided between Muslim League, Union, Khaksar, and Ahrar.
