JF17 is completely functional as compared to TEJAS which is not & TEJAS are not home grown they are only getting assembled in India & parts are from overseas.

Yeah, some of the JF17 were getting made in Pakistan & some were made in China as part of the agreement between the two country, but now PAC is fully capable of making them in Pakistan.

This was as early as 2012-13. Fabrication of something like the fuselage will not be done by anyone but India. Because the whole process was made and planned by Indians themselves, not by France(or who ever), in your case, China.

Which show? JF17 is flying in every Airshow it participates in. Whats wrong with you Indians?

Judging from the report they will utilise full envelope for flying.

I am damn pissed off as Sp 2 did make the flight till now.

Congrats, if you have to import and assemble a fuselage for a fighter that already doesnt have a huge production rate annually, what makes you think anyone can poke fun of Tejas for importing radars and engines for example? Which is also imported or assembling work for JF17. Do you have domestic industry to produce those?

Im a Tejas Fan, However, IMHO, Videos will be a Better "Proof" rather "text" as above.

I think sudarshan lgbs will also find places in tejas,but its very sad that we are not developing shortrange IR/IRimaging type air to air missiles by our own.

Smaller version of Sudarshan LGBs in the category of Spice-250 with multiple weapon carriage pylons.
For short range IR, it will already have the world's most dangerous WVR missile Python-5, also lethal Russian R-73.
For BVR -- Astra -1/2 would be great.

It doesn't even have a double seated trainer and half the sub systems that make a 4th gen fighter, a 4th gen fighter.

It was said in 2013 air show by the host, that JF17 does not require a trainer aircraft.

Mig 21 was developed several decades ago.Mig 21 has seen wars more than dozens times and performed well.

Now does that make Mig 21 superior to F-35 JSF ?
