Tejas fighter finally achieves production target

Some people are very proud to compare a fighter like Tejas which is going to replace IAF's lowest tier fighters ie, the mig 21(which it does very well).
With their soon to be so called "back bone" fighter.
Realistically the Tejas is enough for the jf 17's.I hope they induct more of them, even the parent country which developed it doesn't want it in their fleet. And only some poor nations which cannot afford any other fighters from Africa & SEA have shown interest in it.

LCA 123- JF-17 150+
MiG-29UPG 70- F-16 80
Mirage 2000 50- Mirage V 90
Jaguar DARIN III 60- Mirage III 90
Rafale F3R+ 90+ - ??
Su-30MKI 300+ - ??
FGFA 20- ??

So on quantity and quality the PAF is utterly outclassed.


But of course, daddy China will take care of this and give 200 J-20s for free whilst daddy Saudi Arabia will finance the deal to buy 90 EFTs.

And you designed it? Everything was delivered by China to Pakistan. Pakistan did a good paint job. Tejas was designed, built in India. We have a working engine which needs re-work.

We do import few things, but yours is completely chinese made.

JF-17 Programme

Well obviously, the JF-17 is the "Joint fighter" but what equity does Pakistan have in the actual parent project the FC-1? China designed, built and tested every single element of the FC-1 ON CHINESE SOIL then shipped it to Pakistan wherein it was re-painted and christened "JF-17" and for that you guys only have 58% equity?

Trust me, india wont get a single 5G aircraft by 2025.

Russia is busy building for own use.

India wont get much of the TOT and there will be enormous production delays etc.

They are still sending you first tier modules for assembly. So fabrication does exist in China as well.

So they can produce the whole, assemble, and obviously certify new variants, production models.
