Bilim Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakan Nihat Ergün, Suriye snrna yerletirilmesi düünülen patriotlarlarn benzerinin Türkiye'de de üretilebilmesi için uzun bir süredir çalmalarn devam ettiini dile getirdi.

Bakan Ergün konu ile ilgili yapt açklamasnda, 'Biz TÜBTAK'n yapsn yeniden ekillendirmek gerektiine karar verdik. Böylece Ar-Ge bata olmak üzere Türkiye'nin ihtiyac olan ileri yapmaya balad. Toplumun da Türkiye'de iyi eylerin yapldn, laboratuvarlarnda bir eyleri bulmak için çalan yetimi insan gücüne sahip bir yapmzn olduunu bilmesi hakkdr. Kurumlarn da toplumun buna ihtiyacnn olduunu bilmesi' dedi.

We will provide short and medium range air defence already but was thinking to buy long range ( still ongoing) if we produce that as well ourselves will be perfect, however even if we can't do that now then when the long range comes that we buy, we can learn something from that and work towards national one.

tr1 I think he mean the short and medium range air defence system. we dont have know-how of long range just for the being time..

im not sure but i dont think we have know how aswell so after we buy long range T-LORAMIDS - probably patriot , we can get to know more about them as we will have them and then we can make our own after .

MBDA offers Turkey full missile technology | TR Defence

European missile maker MBDA is hopeful to win a multibillion-dollar Turkish tender which would enable it to build Turkey’s long-range air and missile defense system, known as T-Loramids.

I believe that 4 B dollars for air defense without offset is equal to treason. what are you talking is very very attractive tr1. but I would not go full scale buy of 72 entity. I would only buy less enough to make full tech transfer.

whoever gives most tech transfer is the best for us so in future we can make our own quality long range SAM's
