That was Gen Kayani's speech . And it was vague at best , such incidents should not be repeated , any nation thinking of attempting another such incursion will face etc. He never mentioned India by name .

But what is this - openly calling for terror strikes on selected places in India - On the face of it looks like a clear case of India-obsession and Paranoia .

A lot of diplomatic and govt to govt dialogues and trips have been undertaken by both the countries.

Pakistan has repeatedly warned of dire consequences.

Yet, the Americans go merrily on with their agenda!!

Some Pakistanis had actually dared to ask their military questions post OBL episode. Such statements and the flare up at the border was required.

Logical ability is questionable here.. Pak hide Osama in pocket, US enters kill Osama, Pak could not do anything (Not sharing success nor can give a reply), Terrorist bomb Pak cadets.. Striking the Indian Stock Exchanges will bleed the Indian Economy which will be lot more effectieve striking military installations. Though both have their own significance. If you are going to wait for India to strike the economic targets first and theen make a decision to strike economic targets next would not be a wise move. Example: If the Pakistan stock exchanges as closed for 30 days vs the Indin Stock Exchange, the losses on the Indian side will be many time more.

Mate.. do you think India is an Economic power..? Only in papers ina? As you all says its just a poor country where 90% of the people live below poverty and without toilets... and what will these Indians, who earn only less than $1 do in share markets...? And do you consider our slums as our economic power house and going to target it...? please dont give credit to Indians by saying such comments.. Indians will have Superiority Complex Syndrome...!

I do not think that the Indian General's statement is a "Statement of an Action to Attack"

I think it is meant to be a "Statement of Ability"

However, it has had the desired affect to have the Pakistani Military Leadership ensure that more and more Funds will be spent on acquiring more and more Weapons and enhance Pakistan's Defence Capabilities.

This will then lead to Pakistan reducing its already abysmal spending on Health, Education and Welfare.

End Result : India, with about Seven Times Pakistan's Population has an Economy which is Over Nine Times the size of Pakistan's Economy, will have further strained Pakistan's Economy without having fired even One Bullet.

Mission Accomplished.
