Pakistan: Air Force Chief Visits China

Pakistani air force chief Air Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed left May 9 for a five-day visit to Chengdu, in China's Sichuan province, during which he will witness the first operational flight of the prototype JF-17 Thunder aircraft, a joint-venture between Pakistan and China. The aircraft will be produced jointly by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corp.
