That is because we have left the main principles of Islam on which a state is considered prosperous and on par with developed countries or we can say a true welfare stae like Medina.

The Balkans and like the Hindus put up a brave resistance. There were countless battles and it was not easy for the Turks to completely control the population. I believe there were stipulations as well, weren't there?

As for the Mughals....they were in constant warfare...never held onto their complete empire too long...same issue.... but the key difference is Hinduism is considered idolatry and did not receive the same "kindness: as the ppl of the Balkans who were of the Christian or Jewish faith. In other words, they were treated completely differently because Islam recognized those religions but looked at Hinduism in a completely different light.

Iranian emperor who disrespect the letter of Hazrat MUHAMMAD s.a.w was not rustom,he was Khusroo Parvez who was killed by his own son few weeks after that disrespect of letter.Rustom took the charge many years after that incident.Thanks.
