Indian treatment to woman

I never said India is a harmonious society where oppression against women and other communities has been eradicated. India is as much a backward society as is Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Most of India works on the 3000-year-old extremely Capitalist, regressive, tribalist, feudal and discriminatory socio-economic system.

The first vid is age-restricted and I am not in the mood to sign in.

The second vid is about land dispute - about privately-owned land. If India had been a Socialist or Communist society where land is not privately owned but is a Commons - technically owned by the masses but managed by some public committee - then this violence or any such dispute would not have arisen.

The third vid is not only about the girl wanting to marry a socio-economically-deprived Dalit man but also is about women here not been given the right to marry whoever they want despite law permitting women who have reached the age of 18 ( in India the age of adulthood ) to marry whoever they want.

All in all India needs a renaissance in the political, social and economic spheres and that will come through increased progressive, leftist activism.

Every society in the East, the West and the Global South needs Socialism or in fact Communism.

They have bad experience from communism and countries like Greece and maybe the Turks here can tell us as well,stories about how the people of Bulgaria,Albania and Yugoslavia lived in poverty and sometimes misery too back in the Cold War and big poverty right after the fall of Communism.

They maybe $h!+ but they contribute at least $15 bn to Pakistan's economy annually. So unless Iran or Turkey can offset that amount, Iranophile and Turkophile Arab hating Pakistanis need to put a sock in it...
