The ISIS is advancing at lightening pace, Iraqi Defence Forces have collapsed in the face of their onslaught and the US seems to be nowhere in sight. In this situation, someone has to step up to impede the ISIS advance on Baghdad. The first ISIS-Shia clash will signal the beginning of a sectarian civil war in Iraq and I only hope that I am wrong.

there are sectarian groups who engage in wanton acts of violence in Pakistan but I dont see the sectarianism ever becoming that of Iraq. The mistake in Syria and Iraq is that sectarianism made its way into even the military.

Saudi and Iran are both responsible for the meddling going on in Iraq. The US invasion to find those non-existent WMDs stirred up the hornets nest.

the history of Iraq has always been that of sporadic violence followed by uneasy calm. It's sad because Iraq is so resource rich and culturally rich; as a civilization they contributed a lot towards humanity

thats exactly what Saudis are dreaming t happen in Pakistan. they are bank rolling millions to cause a civil war on sectarian bases. they are not satisfied with the amount of blood spilled in Syria, Yemen and Iraq though.
