The Chinese don't even have to fight, if most Indians soldier die of cold, or incapacitate due to cold, body freezing, not able to move, limb bristles etc.

If you treat your soldiers like holidaymakers with warm tents and chinese fondue then you make them to weaklings.

If a war is ever to happen I will place by money on India army. Sorry but I can’t expect much from the PLA with soldiers sitting together around hotspots. Are they going to war and make school picnics?
Soldiers must endure tough weather, they must feel the pains, they must eat terrible foods.

Buddy, it don't matter whether you're a super power like Russia, China or america. When you're located in areas 4000 meters above sea level and then Winter sweeps in. Then forget fighting a war, you wouldn't even go out for a morning stroll in such conditions. This is where drones, artillery and missiles come in. So you can bet on the indian army being tough or rugged under such harsh conditions. It ain't gonna help them when artillery shells and drone strikes are conducted.

Majority of indian soldiers deployment, at the levels seen now. Have not had to endure such harsh conditions over the last 58 years. And back then, the 1962 war was fought in November, ending just before the hard cold winter set in.

Food for thought, having insulated, reinforced habitable living quarters with all the basic necessities for your soldiers is a moral booster on a scale you have see it to believe it. Four months of unrelenting, deadly cold weather is not a place to be deployed if you do not have the necessary infrastructure.

Taiwan TV: On the China-India border, PLA live in the barracks like star hotels while Indian soldiers suffer in snow in the open because Indian manufacturers are cutting corners in building the barracks , some barracks collapsed soon after being set up and many are becoming condemned structures not fit for humans to live in, so many Indian soldiers have to stay out in the open in the snow. now at least 50,000 Indian soldiers live in makeshift tents at the China-India border.

The video shows PLA hi tech barrack, fully air conditioned, oxygen supply devices provided, 24 hours supply of hotwater for bath taking...

The TV host also shows photos comparing living conditions between Indian and PLA soldiers, one is freezing to death in the snowstorm another is having hotpot in fully airconditioned, cozy high tech rooms.

Yeah, agree. The hungry, destitute, suffering from low moral , complaining about their ration, frozen eggs, juice etc, not to mention burnt chappatis and watery daal, such soldiers fight courageously. Despite them moaning all the time. Better still if they have to freeze to death in -40 temp.
Good virtues of gallantry get them through.

While happy well fed & Armed , contended soldiers cannot fight.
