That is a poor excuse.
In fact even more reason to show the pilot to prove Indians are liars and lied even to the family of the pilot. How would other IAF pilots feel then when they will learn their govt will easily disown them? So I dont believe this line of reasoning.

Pakistan dont have relations to taiwan but india recently had defense agreements.

USA will not be happy that Taiwan sold AIM missile to India

And india is handing over the proof to USA that it bought Amraam from TaiwAn.
