The issue with Bavar-373 and other systems like it are they rely on a fire control radar that if destroyed renders the entire battalion pretty much useless. That FCR is usually defended highly and within a robust IADS and air defense network in general.
That is why we see another variant of B-373 based on S-300V that can survive without its main radar albeit a reduced efficiency (less than 90KM). Iran is keenly aware that an advanced adversary will attempt to locate and eliminate the critical link in the battalion chain.
Thus a B-373 battalion based on original B-373 would be very vulnerable in Syria Since it lacks a robust AD network to defend the AD kill chain.
