Syria accidentally shot down a Russian military plane

Not a no fly zone, it’s likely deals with rescue efforts to recover the Russian plane.
I'm no airman, but when the NOTAM says Live rocket fire testing...you don't fly there.

Meanwhile Israel crows about at least 200 air attacks on Iranian/Hezbollah targets in Syria with the tacit approval of Russia.
PS: Guess who was at the mayday parade in Moscow laying wreaths down at the tomb of Russian soldiers after a major bombing campaign in Syria? Mr. Netanyahoo. Ding...ding...ding...Right answer.

Ok, I'll believe it, however, it's for a week, so is that enough do what exactly?
Window of opportunity for Iran to airfreight anything it wants and then shuffle them across Syria

I didn’t read it. Again doesn’t that point to drills? There are destroyers both French, Russian, and maybe US in the area.

I feel like a no fly zone would be announced to the world in order to prevent any misunderstanding similar to Yemen blockade by US and it’s PG Cronies.

Until Russia states publically that a no fly zone is in effect I will stay skeptical.

After attack on IRGC Drone Base in Syria that caused several casualties, IRGC felt a red line was crossed. It’s one thing to attack arms depots and shipments intended for Hezbollah or even syrian military bases, but attacking Iran’s military directly was a no no.

Iran tried to deliver air defense system (likely BUK but unconfirmed some reports say Bavar-373 some say TOR-M1 others say BUK variant system).

However, that was attacked in an Israeli Air raid which resulted in IRGC affiliated militias firing rockets into Golan.

Again if you don’t think iran has attempted to bring air defense systems to protect its assets you are being incredibly naive. Don’t expect either side to show evidence in this shadow war.
Iran have no Tor-m1 to spare for low value target in Syria ,
by the way where is the evidence and video of such attack ?

and no IRGC affiliated militia fired rockets into Israel ,wonder from where you get these Ideas ,Those rocket attacks were handy work of Syrian Army and they admitted to that

LOL!!
Next time at least bother to try and do some basic research on the issue before you post m8,that way you might avoid looking as stupid as you do right now.
Russia only provided the system because it was facing having to pay out over 4 billion [$4,000,000,000] in compensation for breach of contract over the original s300 deal, the sale and delivery of this system were not in violation of sanctions, that was just yet another russian excuse. In addition the russians only did this after irans indigenous s300 class bavar 373 sam was already well advanced in development.
Russia IS NOT AN ALLY OF IRAN,it never was and likely never will be.The only single thing that the russians have ever shown themselves to be reliable with in all of their dealings with iran, was their near total and complete utter UNRELIABILITY.
If russia was an ally it would be a very, very poor one,and thats putting it very nicely.
And you sir must learn some manners to talk to strangers for the first time before presenting yourself as an expert. Don't quote me with this type of language if thats how you talk regularly.

Its Russia's mistake for not securing the Syrian airspace prior entering and operating. And the Russian service members / material losses are paying the price.

B-373 prototypes are operational and currently being fielded and tested extensively. However, Iran will not move them to Syrian theater.

Iran has already tried supplying BUK systems, they have been destroyed upon arrival.

Unlikely Iran will do anything at this point.
Where did you heard such nonsense...there was not even one reliable source that claim Iran is ever even tryed to transfer any air defense systems except some new.phased array radars made by Iran and China.Only source.that.claim TOR is destroyed in Syria is Israel source with record of providing fake.and wrong news in 100% cases...
There was a information that Iran is prepareing to transfer AD systems but these imformation started to float onlly recently...when it is become clearly that Russians will not even share.information when.it comes to Israel.activity....according to many sources Iran did pay recently for additional Pantsir and Buk systems for Syrian Air defense network but didn't.transferred anything from Iran and that is very logical step since there is option for purchase short and medium AD systems from Russia...so first Iran doesn't have any BUK systems and again why would they move any Iranian short or medium AD systems in Syria when there is already short and medium AD systems in Syria with option to buy more..systems that Syrians already operate and have experience to use....
Even if Iran move some short or medium AD systems in Syria it would be very limited and for the.sake.of.testing...Iran can only transfer long range systems to Syria or additional radars....this has sense and it would boost Syrian AD but deploying something that already exist and we saw already that Iranian backed forces operate Pantsir so why would Iran deploy TOR or RAAD family AD systems to bases which is already.covered by short and medium range SAM....it has no sense...and only one who reported this was Israel source and some third grade news portals just copy this report.
Syria air defense main problem is not in air defense systems....main problem is they don't have integrated multi-layered air defense network that covers large area(something Iran is investing and building for years)...and as result there is bunch of black holes...thus they are very limited when it comes to long range early warning and search/acquisition radars so Israel aircrafts can ,and that is exactlly what they do,simple first fly from Israel deep in Mediterranean or through other country airspace and than approach from different direction and than just lunch...if they could detect them and identify them as.IDF at longer ranges than they can respond properly ...heck they could even send mig-29 to intercept them...they have mig-29 upgraded to smt and they got R-77 missiles so they can match few f16/f15 .
When it comes to AD they have modernized S-125 Petchora,Pantsir,Kub,BUK-m1..now got Buk-m2,also have S-200...even their mig-29 can engage with f16 since Syrian MiG29 are upgraded to SMT and they got R-77 missiles.....also they have MiG23 interceptor versions and what I know those are also.upgraded but without integrated network their air force is not even considered to be used in air defense role...and only long range.system is very limited when it comes to fast aircrafts...s-200 has huge minimal range...and because of that it has very limited usage for fast targets....When Iranians release news that Russians were stunned when saw Iranian upgraded s-200...well that was that...not many people understanded why Iran show video of shoting karrar drone in visual range when releasing video of upgraded s-200...since there is no sense to fire s-200 at cheap drone you can shot down with anything...but that was exactlly because they wanted to show s-200 without this huge minimal flaw which is main reason S-200 had limited range where it was deadly for fast aircrafts....In reality no one will fire at fighter aircraft from 200km...it doesn't metter what system is...expecually if it is s-200...mostly operator will lunch from 40-70 km if target is fighter aircraft but if your system is useless for anything that fly closer tha 40-50km than your options againest these targets are very limited....but Iranians did showcase close kill with.S-200

I heard it was a rouge missile , which was shot for Israeli F16 and then it inadvertently engaged another bogey in air i.e Russian craft

so first Iran doesn't have any BUK systems and again why would they move any Iranian short or medium AD systems in Syria

1) To protect ist own assets (T4 base/IRGC)
2) To be ready for a wider escalation (Nato attaking Syria), Russia cant be left alone in case of full attack

You are talking nonsense...T4 air base is havily covered by all kind AD systems...from pantsir...buk...to s-200..and all those systems were active except TOR whic Israel worst media outlet reported was there...for god sake think before take idiotic claims reported by Debka or Heartz...There is simle no logical sense to put TOR inside Air base....when base is covered with Pantsir..BUK...Petchora...S200...

Yeah, thats why T4 was several times sucessfully hit by IAF
Nobody was talking about TOR systems
Im talking about Iranian Raad Systems
Iran is legally in Syria and it has every right to protect itself

Putin according to Russian DM has agreed to deliver S-300 to Syria in 2 WEEKS (based on previous contract)!

Furthermore, Syria will get automatic control systems to identify all Russian aircraft as well as better organize their own Air defense systems against threats.

Lastly, Russia will jam all combat aircraft flying in the Mediterranean.

Will wait for confirmation to see if any of this actually happens, but if Syria gets S-300 it will be huge. It won’t stop all air strikes, though it might prevent some and give Syria an AD system that can actually punish combat aircraft.

If it happens, Syrians could move some of their Buk-M2 closer to the frontline, area defense of mid to high altitude would then be covered by the S-300P.
