Swachh Internet: Modi Govt To Block Adult Websites

one technology i really want banned is cell phone... i am sick and tired of people always with ears and fingers on that accursed non-utility... yakking off as if vladimir putin himself is taking advise from them... and who has ever benefited from having a cell phone... communication must be via email or one way video message... the world must ban the bloody cell phone.
Pigeons are way better, E-mail is over rated. Sending messages through emails allows the NSA to spy on you, it must be avoided at all costs.

oye BJPtards ........make sure if u ban these sites .....provide uncensored HBO and FTV

In days before the internet was freely available, mallus would lock themselves up, switch off all lights and watch MTV Grind at midnight....there's an idea for you :enjoy:

sigh... your sarcasm is so very bad.

besides, i am really into socialist activism... i should be more worried about internet security than you... :)

I have 250 data's already......means i need to store atleast 500 GB more:p:

Apparently the supreme court has been urging the govt to do this for about one year now.

Government has to take steps to block **** sites: Supreme Court - Economic Times (from 2013)

And again a few days earlier, where the govt was questioned and said it would be impossible to do so.

I doubt if this will ever be implemented, or if it will even be possible. Even the last govt did try to do so, some image sharing websites would just turn up blank (use a proxy), then some popular websites were banned, they just reopened in a different name.

I think BANNING is a BAD idea........instead a sms should go to all the members of the family of the guy who watches **** on behalf of Modi, message can be something like this:

Namaskar,

Me apka Priy Pradhan Sewak Modi,

Ek Taraf jha aap apne Launde ki duniya bhar me tarif krte nhi thakte.....whi dusri taraf woh abhi Xvideos/YouPorn me Laga hua hai........

Jaldi sey iska Internet band krva do, warna Launda hath se nikal jayega......

Dhanyawad.

You have no idea, :D I have grown up during a time when internet and mobile phones were science fictions. Even in small towns hundreds of CDs were available for Rs. 5-10 everywhere, and then there were plenty of photo and story books and video parlours. :D

And **** is available on facebook, youtube, whatsapp also, what else will they ban?

Most importantly, once you start such moral policing then there is no end to it, tomorrow they will say love affairs and marrying without family's consent is against Indian culture, so from then on film makers will not make love stories or films related to more complicated human relations, who knows where this swacch Indian culture will take us.
I dont know where to draw line when it comes to preserving culture and I dont care what a guy in his 20s is watching because he's an adult and is free to take his own decisions but.........
1)it does occasionally worry me to see that preteens also 've access to things which at their age should not be so easily available to 'em.
2) when you ban such sites then whoever wants to watch such things would 've to spend some extra money to watch it...meaning the frequency with which a guy watches adult sites will reduce.
3) when the frequency reduces then it effects the demand and thus lowering the frequency with which such videos 're made. We do know that now this industry indulges in some nefarious activities where in they use small kids to shoot such videos.
4) You do know that some get addicted to such adult sites...once the access is banned such an addiction would not exist anymore.
it feels atrocious when such adult ads pop up when a kid is accessing internet.(These days Children have to access net for academic reasons ...as small as grade 1 kids 're also encouraged to do so).
these 're the reasons why i support this decision.

It is difficult, not impossible. I seriously wish the govt. puts more resources into doing this and restore some balance back into our society.
