India has to achieve its objectives(Baluchistan+whatever) within next 20 year. It'd be also beneficial for US as a direct route to Afghan.
*We can't directly confront with Pak due to nuclear threat.

US doesn't fear North's Nukes, they won't reach even their western coast, may be bought down in the space before they reach Guam.

But what US fears is the destruction of their 2 Allies South Korea & Japan. Put North's 20-30 nukes out of equation if they ever use one they won't survive to launch another one.
North Korea has packed with immense firepower which is enough to level South Korean cities & Japan upto some extent.
SK & Japan economy will be reduced to 0.
US may conquer North but its allies in the region will be decent affected, This is what US fears most.
