syria has over 90 percent sunnis but rulers are alawaites who for the past 20 years have massacred over 30,000 peoples in two different uprising..such an act will be bad and inhumane but out of desperation may be only way for them.

Syrian revolution has soured up..it is posed for a taliban like take over much like Libya and now Egypt where hardline jihadi factions are sweeping the polls...and effective way of pushing the nation backwards..Because most of this revolutions are bank rolled by Saudi Arabia, who cannot progress forward in the social reforms so their only choice is to push everyone backwards by unleashing the ultraconservative jihadi clans!

syrian uprising is not gonna stop no matter how many of them got killed it is clear majority of the minorities r helping the regime.

i m afraid a civil war could happens and for sure the minorities will loose a lot, this is why i want the world powers force this regime to step down peacfully and some kind of independent apparatus is in place which will over see free and fair elections in this process there will not be any need of military intervention or anymore killings

but until now more the 5000 thousands protesters r killed mainly from the majority sunni population,
so now here we r making a big deal of threat and here is a regime killing ppl which is supported clearly by majority of the minorities.

The way the Alawite regime massacring the Sunni Muslim majority, the situation is really going towards a dangerous civil war or a wider Shia-Sunni war with Syrian Sunnis, Iraqi Sunni Arabs n Kurds, Turkey, Saudi arabia, Jordan and Other GCC nations on one side or even involvement of Israel, US n NATO block in their favour or to settle scores with Iran and Hizbullah and on ther side the Shia block of Alawite Regime, Hizbullah, Iran, Iraq Shia Govt.
This conflict can go out of control if Russia n China try to involve on any level but it looks Russia will not dare to do that. By the way Putin himself is waiting a popular revolution in Russia due to his dictator like policies and considering Russia as his personal property.
Insha Allah the blood of Syrian muslim will win over guns of Syrian regime.
