FAISALABAD: Chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Fazal Karim passed away on Monday, DawnNews reported.

The 58-year-old was undergoing treatment for a liver ailment at a hospital in Faisalabad.

Born in 1954 Sahibzada Haji Muhammad Fazal Karim was a senior and vocal member of the SIC.

He had condemned the attack on the grandest shrine of Lahore, the “Data Darbar”, and the attack on Malala Yousifzai demanding a crackdown against terrorists.
