Anyway, they mustered strength under the ceasefire. They are also taking advantage of political/budgetary turmoil.
Perhaps, TTP got the backing of the smugglers around Chaman. many things have converged that TTP is attacking Pak and also not listening to IEA.

I don’t think they will take territory at this point.

My biggest fear they will attack Karachi now. Karachi has a huge Afghan and Waziri population.

While I respect this man for his sacrifice, most of us are in favor of men like this not having to sacrifice their lives.

It’s time to analyze the root of the problem. While certain vested powers may want us to be stuck in this perpetual limbo, we the people are not stupid.

Why not start an offensive now? Pakistan cannot tackle any significant insurgency, it will economically collapse, drain it's stockpiles of ammunitions etc.

Forget Ashraf Ghani, that was a totally different time with US presence in Afghanistan so focus was on that and they were fractured groups who needed time to reorganise.

ISI was always overhyped, their significant achievements were not too difficult to do as many things favoured them like geography and public sentiment, and at times they had direct US support.

Real achievements are when the odds are stacked against you, geography puts you at a significant disadvantage, public sentiment is against you.
