Subak Raftar: The Pakistani segway

ISLAMABAD - The students of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) have developed a self-balancing personal transportation device with two wheels.
According to details, the personal two-wheeler vehicle named ‘Subak Raftar’ can be used in shopping malls, airport, factories, universities, museums, and large buildings. It will also be a very useful ride for security guards.
The NUST sources told APP that the Subuk Raftar can carry 70-kg weight.
“All parts required to assmble Subuk Raftar are available in the country and this is the reason it has cost Rs 35,000,” said the students who worked on the project. The vehicle was awarded first prize at a competition and exhibition organised by the Society for Promotion of Science and Technology 2012, NED University of Engineering and Technology.

Its made by Uni Students For testing, they have successfully tested it and They will increase it Now.

i find this vehicle very useless

Try making one.....these students when don't get appreciation and support whereas frauds get air time, what you expect these hard working students will do. They will just go to US or some other country. No matter how small the project is, demotivating youngsters to try new things makes you dependent on other countries.
