GOI+MOD+IAF, now has to seriously look into this matter of precious assets of IAF getting crashed, though the pilots ejecting safely is a good news but we can't forget the plane, which is the front-line jet of the IAF. As it is, our squad nos. are not upto the desired levels, now if we add to it 4-5 fighter jets getting crashed each year than this is indeed SERIOUS THREAT.

Mate, i am talking about 4-5 fighter jets not just MKIs + this is the 4 crash of MKI. Just few days back we had a mig 27 crash, so it's 2 crash in as much months of this new year.

This is SERIOUS threat to IAF, we are making 1 squad less each 4-5 years just by crash + mig21s & mig27s will be retired & the inductions aren't going to fulfill the difference.

P.S. GET THE F****** RAFALE INDUCTED. PERIOD.

It is very unfortunate but when you are flying high-performance supersonic a/c like this then there is always a serious risk of such incidents happening. You can't blame the IAF for this.


We'll have to wait and see what the CoI says.
