It's odd... all the "free love" hippie types say "It's OK to show sexual scenes on TV. It's natural, it's human. Don't worry about your kids seeing healthy sexual activity. What we should be horribly concerned about is VIOLENCE on TV."

The reality is that kids see sex scenes, get all hot & bothered, wonder what it's all about, then DO it. If they see violence, they generally DON'T do it, for real, at least. They may run around and play army, but they don't beat or kill their friends.

As a parent, all I know is that when sex scenes come on TV and you're watching with your kids, it's SUPER uncomfortable, and I'm not sure why. But "Law & Order" or "Band of Brothers", no problem.
