Not exactly, The BMD won't work effectively in a lot of circumstances,

• Ineffective against Cruise missiles
• decreased effectiveness incase of MARVs and even less incase of MIRVs
• Incase of a large scale nuclear exchange , the sheer number of CMs/BMs might overwhelm the Engagement system of the BMD

There is a similarity between the Cold War and the nuclear arms race b/w Pakistan and India. Keeping the tactical nuke-talk aside, Pakistan has the capability of inflicting the amount of damage which India simply cannot reciprocate.

don't talk nonsense, one nuclear warhead will not do any significant damage to India, heck even japan survived two nukes strikes of Hiroshima & Nagasaki
to go nuclear it has to be full scale massive strike nothing less will do, as for BMD no they are not 99% accurate but 50% still they are a threat, but nonetheless their are ways to counter also

What a stupid way to butt in, into an argument without taking into account the past communications.

Apparently, Pakistan has over 200 Nuclear Warheads which will all be launched simultaneously but only at 20-30 cities (let alone a 1000 warheads). Which means that each city will be targeted with at least 6-10 Nuclear Warheads carried by various different kinds of Missiles which will include decoys and countermeasures such as terminal phase manoeuvres etc.

In a Nuclear exchange, India will fall.

HEMP or NEMP depends upon the yeild and the altitude. At such a high altitude a relatively medium detonation will send the continent back to the stone age

It does depend on the yield, the altitude and the earth's hemisphere/electromagnetic field. Therefore, any such attack would be supremely calculated before being conducted. But such an attack will be limited to Indian cities, that will be ensured.
