‘Strike after 26/11 may have led to war’: Former Pak minister Kasuri

This Superman is Trying to Gather Attention.

If this was True "Pakistan", would have used this Statement in 2008 ...Cried every where....Gone to UN, US and asked for Weapons to save from the Hegemonic Indians.

This news would have been made so Big that Pakistan would have used it to its Best Advantage.

Mr. Kasuri, as no one gives a dime to you - Thus you are creating Sensational News!!

No problem Mr. Khusri, this is your Country.

The Indians also felt adventurous in May 2002, but then lost appetite for action after realising how PAF was going to pay back.

I guess India played its game pretty well.......I dont think India would have gone to war, though there might have been discussion and deliberation at higher levels...... There was not much we could gain from the war, and our strikes would have been on terrorist camps, for which i doubt we have desired intelligence.....

By not attacking, India did gain lot of points, and have used the situation pretty well..... Even now we are milking it.....

You have no idea about what sort of measures Pakistan military was willing to take that would've made "big news". Much bigger than mere statements.

India achieved more by not attacking than it would have by attacking.

Sine the 90s it has focused on improving the economy and the standard of living, India is tied into the global economy, for good or bad.

A war with Pakistan would have seen missiles falling into Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, etc. The FDI invested into India would be seen being shifted immediately upon even a whiff of potential war. While Pakistani industry is plagued by hourly blackouts that have devastated the economy, India would have more to lose, well, until the war goes nuclear. And in the end would have accomplished nothing. The borders would remain the same, and the land would be filled with more graves.

For all the Pakistan members trumping their chests, India played its cards better than Pakistan. And has achieved more than it's western neighbor. While you're still bragging about Afghanistan, 8 Chinese subs and a couple of US Naval Cutters, the India economy is growing, what, 2 times faster, all through partnerships or contracts between foreign corporations and domestic companies. While Pakistan just outsources jobs to China. The Indian foreign policy has gathered allies towards it's side and will eventually be a power-broker.

Eventually even China will have to decide whether it's hundreds of billions of dollars it has invested into India is worth less than the tens of billions Pakistan owes.

Keep recalling the history of Pakistan's miraculous feats, because they're not bound on repeating, not with the continued direction Pakistan is heading.
