What's new

Street Kids.

Thats the way it works. You're supposed to ignore the beggars (the tissue papers are just an excuse to beg). If you pay one, there will be hundreds swarming up upon you.

And the money you pay these kids is taken away by the beggars master anyway and the vicious cycle continues. These kids have either been left to beg by their poverty stricken parents or have been kidnapped at a very young age and molded for beggary.

Never pay beggars.

Agreed.

But what my real pain is that what the heck our future is doing on the streets?

Who is responsible , me , you , zardari or every one of us??

Some months before my rules were the same as Mr. Asim has. But then I come to know abt a saying of Hazrat Ali:

"If some one come to you sitting on a White Elephant and ask for help (Money to help him) give him according to ur pocket"

:cry: A touchy topic to me.........

One proposed solution is, there should be a got department for the welfare of beggers (Like old house, yateem khana, darul aman etc). Find any begger send him to that department. Give them education and when they were capable of doing some job or small business release them and let them past their lives. For their expense boxes should be placed, ask some NGO's and there are so many other ways to collect money for them.
Its our (me and my hony waly hubby) mission in life and if Allah Amighty give us such strength and power both of us will make it true.

u think there are no people who donate
there are loads of people who donate but the problem is this money is not spent on them, so instead of donating money to some stupid NGO, give them something by your own hands

Yesterday on a signal in Rawalpindi, a girl of about 15 wearing School Uniform came to me selling Ball Point Pens & the way she literally begged me for buying those pens was scary, so had to give her something, there are some professional beggars but we must differentiate between real & fake, I usually give money to kids who are selling something not ones who are just trolling around to snatch something

Yes sweety agree with you but the problem is we dont have any govt controlled department (no central controll) for the use of this money. This is what I'm saying there are many ways to collect money for these beggers but that should be centralised. and we will work on that. IA.

Take 5 minutes of your time to listen to this description of Boodhe Bachche - A very touching poem about kids on street. I had tears in my eyes just listening to the pain and amazingly real portrayal.

YouTube - GALIYAAN- a very sensual poetry by ASHOK CHAKRADHAR.

That was good thanks for posting really heart touching and the foremost thing is that he mentioned premchand i just love him his approach to this subject is unique and i believe his writings are the best.Munshi Premchand jindabad!
