Well the ship the MSA acquires could based on the Type 056 platform, doesn't mean it is going to be equipped like a corvette. The hull without its weapons or powerful sensors wouldn't be expensive.

I never said that it would be the T-056.

I think it is this one.
He (Rana tanveer ) said other defence projects including Fast Attack Craft (Missile) No. 4, 2 x 32 Tons BP Tugs for PN and 1 x 600 Tons and 1 x 1500 Tons QPVs for Pakistan Maritime Security Agency are planned to start in 2016.

2 of the new MSA ships are based on Type56 design. 4 of them are of smaller 600 ton design. i believe on eof them will be build in Pakistan along with one 600 ton design
