Sri Lanka to provide security to SAARC summit to be held in Maldives

Sri Lanka has been entrusted to provide security to SAARC summit to be held in Maldives next month. Accordingly, Special Task Force will provide security cover for the state leaders and other diplomatic officials attended to the summit.

The summit will be held 10th and 11th of November. Several countries will also support Maldives to enhance security in Male during the summit.

China will install security camera system. China will also grant motor vehicles for the transportation of diplomats and other required equipments. India and Bangladesh provides Police officers and trucks.
