It is said that when u get successes one after another u become complacent so, nowadays, Pakistani security agencies r observing the same phenomena after getting successes in their operations like Radd ul fisad etc is our new question 2 debate on...
V all know pak observed a wonderful n outclass victory over Terrorist which even superpowers can't brag on. V eradicated n brought down Terrorist incidents at very lowest level in world history but what has ensued nowadays 2 our brave n intelligent security agencies? First it was Molana n now tahir dawar sb have been kidnapped n drove out from most secured city of pakistan-islamabad 2 AFGHANISTAN n nobody was able 2 sniff about this. Y it has happened?
Is it bcz v have burdenized our ISI by involving it into other tasks as IB which also was responsible 4 domestic intelligence but now it was ordered 2 focus on Political corruption?
Or is it bcz tht our security agencies have become complacent?
Ur arguments r highly appreciated...
aik agency hoti thi dunya ki number 1 kisi ko yaad hai ?
It was all over the news in Pakistan. Defence.pk had a thread on his disappearance too. He deliberately left his fone at home and went out.RIP.
Its quite shocking that a SSP was missing for more than 2 weeks and there was barely any news about this or news about government efforts to find him.
Update - The Ministry of Interior has questioned the authenticity and declined to comment on the reports floating on the media regarding the alleged murder of S.P Tahir Dawar.
The police authorities and federal government on Tuesday denied reports that Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar, who went missing from Islamabad last month, was killed in Afghanistan.
SP Dawar had gone missing from Islamabad on October 27. But speculation over the fate of the missing officer mounted on Tuesday when pictures of a dead body found in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, purportedly that of Dawar, started circulating on social media platforms.
When asked by reporters today, State Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi declined to comment over the veracity of the social media reports, saying it was a sensitive matter.
"It is a matter of national security and someone's life, and cannot be discussed on an open forum," Afridi said.
He said the government was seriously pursuing the cases of individuals whose loved ones have been missing.
Praying that such an incident may not have taken place, the minister said a fifth generation and cyber war had been imposed on Pakistan.
"Photo-shopped images and fake news are being spread nowadays," he added.
Meanwhile, Inspector General (IG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Mehsud said they were in touch with the Afghan government through concerned departments.
He said it was not possible to confirm the veracity of these reports at present. However, an official statement would be issued in case of its confirmation, he said.
Stop being an idiot.
The job of the agency is to collect information, not to provide body guard services.

The ever lasting shithole of this world
