South Indian Stereotyping - A South Indian response, I say!

In Mumbai all hindi speaking guys are "bhaiyya".....:cheesy:

& for most of them all south Indians are Madrasis

Bro.. from when we became North Indian. We are East Indian. And we East, West, South, North, Middle, North East all are Indians.

Bro, here in Bangalore if you are not from any of the southern states then you are a north indian by default:), Unless your face can differentiate yourself by north eastern states...so I was talking from that angle.

yes I agree, we are all Indians..

I dont think they call it with any love for bhayyas... :cheesy:

Depends on the person if they are MNS goons then yeah, but many normal people also call them bhayya.
In fact they were called as bhayya before MNS started using it as a slang.

There's nothing wrong as such,,,,
Actually,,,,till some time back,,,Most of the vegetable, fruit n milk vendors were called bhaiyyaji ( females when go to market they say,,"bhaiyya" batata ( aaloo) kaise diye,,,,,,from there the bhaiyya word has evolved,,,

Most of these vendors are from MP & UP,,,but now bhaiyya word is politicised,,

I remember a guy from bihar saying ",,,Saab jab gaon jaata hoon sab bolte hai bambaiyya aagaya,,,aur jab bambai jaata hoon to sab kehte hai bhaiyya aagaya"

Whats wrong in "bhaiyya" and only those from bihar and UP are called with this name.

bhaiyya literally means brother in Hindi nothing offensive
