So Chinese have no discipline? Where did u get that from?but tech without discipline in both politics, diplomatic ranks, and armies/navies/air-forces/etc, is useless.
yes Qing dynasties also built a 1,000 ship navy
tiny Royal Navy wiped them out
its quality not quantity
their increasingly aggressive national rethoric, put forth by their top leader, mr Xi Jinping (sorry if i mis-spelled his name). So Chinese have no discipline? Where did u get that from?

and lobbing nukes between the world's super powers, is God's original fruitful plan or something?Your seriously comparing a Junk Ship which is what they were called against what the Europeans had?
That's like comparing a propeller plane against an F-15 we've seen what the Japanese were capable of during the Meji Era when they quickly adapted the western model and had their industrial revolution and they took out the Russian's and the rest was history.
This is the problem when people don't know their history or more specifically military history of a certain era when comparing powers. All what you and others have said is basically apple and oranges and feel good lines.
The Chinese are going through their own industrial revolution -- to think a war with China will stay conventional is also a folly it will turn nuclear not that I care don't mind a few being lobbed between the Europeans and Chinese/Russians.
It's been awhile since great powers fought each other, and each time their is a rebalance globally and we are due for another one and a serious one and I personally feel and will justify use of nuclear weapons the uni-polar world controlled by the West has done more damage than good:
Uncheck power driven by self-interest, scarcity, grandiosity and aggression, is deadly to God's original fruitful purposes.

Right.
The UK also owned India back then but is it possible today? The Brits also kept your people as colonial subjects and legally treated them as subhumans. Can they do that today?
Unlikely. The UK refused to send their Navy to keep Hong Kong.
China will continue to pump ships into its seas. And will continue to expand Chinese jurisdiction long after the QE had sailed home.

You chose the Americans too wisely too . Chinese are not going to take that long to dump you.
i suppose we can start floating the ships around the South China Sea then... it'll be costly, we'll end up paying the Chinese government taxes for transit rights, but you got a valid point.
i'll try to bring it up on my peacefan @usmessageboard.com account sometime soon, but they got a lot on their minds already, ideas i introduced there this week, which go against decades worth of sturdy American indoctrination of their own populations...

i am thoroughly against regional and large scale wars.
that just wastes lives and money. don't get me wrong, i'm not against the arms industries of Earth at all..
i think they're doing a fine job keeping us strong.
i just hate to see mass casualty events.
but i can't always go against (large-scale) government + mass-media-industry PR campaigns happening in multiple major countries at the same time, and doing *that* also goes too far against the principles of free speech.
that's where manipulation starts, and you end up being a meglanomaniac. which i'm certainly *not*.
