Someone Just Hacked India's Most Advanced Nuclear Power Plant.

You need to stop looking between others legs.
Only gullible fools would believe that Nuclear power plants are centrally connected through a network, given they are susceptible to cyber attacks. All strategic assets in India, like power grid, Nuclear plants are not centrally linked to a network. We are exceptionally cautious in this regard that we do not even allow Chinese systems in our power grid.
Domain Administrator for Kudamkulam website possibly lol.

The problem is that the river of filth is running between the legs of the Indians. Like Bipin had virtual diarrhea between his legs when he saw the death very close and personal from PAF.

Lets bust your lies first. Here is a diagram from an article published in March 2018.

Romanian hacktivist GhostShell says computers on Indian infrastructure have security holes
Anand Murali March 21, 2018 6 min

India has at least a few dozen insecure, internet-connected SCADA systems, computers that typically manage and control subsystems in infrastructure installations like power stations and mobile phone towers, according to a hacktivist best known to be behind hacks into NASA, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Chinese government networks.

The Romanian hacktivist, who goes by the name GhostShell, has shared a list of more than 46 vulnerable SCADA systems with their IP addresses and port numbers installed across India. (More on who GhostShell is later in the story.)

While it is not clear what exactly the open SCADA systems – short for supervisory control and data acquisition systems – control or lead to, such systems are usually used in energy, water, power, telecommunication, and transportation installations. They are also used in manufacturing and other industries. They are primarily used to communicate with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or remote terminal units that monitor, manage and control equipments and machinery. For example, a PLC can be used to automate an electro-mechanical process such as switching on or off a turbine, regulate filtration in a water treatment plant, or control the flow of coolant water to a machinery.

The rest of the article can be read at the above address, if anyone wishes.

The fact of the matter is that this vulnerability was explained back in March 2018.
As for your lies that the plants are stand alone , look at the diagram, it clearly shows that the nuclear plant and machinery is linked to the SCADA server, which according to the information had been hacked by an administrative level access to the system/domain.

Just wait

And multiple ID rat @Tejas Spokesman would come and tell us that no damage was done and everything is fine and everything is completely under control of Indian government

#FakeNewj

This is just propaganda, no one dare do this to india.

Basic and first reaction of GoI has to be like this. Lastly, there was a leakage reported and now this.

FAKE NEWS by Quint

Assertion is already posted even the letter as such while the mix of observations are there. In fact, it's fake for GoI at the start. Quint discusses the same that it ain't fake as GoI said so.

State sponsored industrial espionage.

Indians are building a Fast Breeder Reactor there which is Thorium based. If they succeed, their dependency on Uranium will reduce and they will take a giant leap in becoming energy self reliant....as India has largest deposits of Thorium in the world.

.
Did they contact Sharma ji at Future tech scam Co. Aka a call center For assistance. Sharma ji lives to take away every thing

Wow, and then these people scream about Pakistan inability to have nukes. If I'm not mistaken, there was even a incident couple of years back where Indian nuclear materials was about to be sold in black market

The reason why they shout about Pakistan has a whole different dimension and meaning. These people cannot accept our existence. You expect them to accept us being a nuclear state?

As for the story itself, it is a failure of epic magnitude. Had this been Pakistan, the world would have been collectively shouting and screaming henious garbage we can already imagine.

Big players can't be ruled out.

Yeah imaginary adventure stories.

Lol! Is that the best you can come up with? Some hacker claiming something?
This is like the Adhaar thing, a hacker claimed they could access information including personal numbers of Ministers.
Now, coming to your bullshit (or his), for someone to hack into the SCADA, no forget SCADA, the interface machine, one has to physically enter the Interface unit, bypass all the security checks, then install the DTrack software. Like in the Mission Impossible movies, but ignoramus believes that stuff is for real and starts theorizing.

The diagram is another joke, Nuclear power plants don't publish minute status report through any router or tower.
These systems are never connected to the internet. That's the best firewall one can get.

.
We too need to learn from this cyber attack. Although Indian record is terrible.

Dumbo, we were shown the laundry bill of Bipin after 27th Feb. In any events he disappearing from public view for almost 5 months before resurfacing recently tells its own story.

Now coming to the story of the Hacker.
He warned India about the vulnerability of their systems over one and half year ago. What he warned had happened exactly. The server was hacked with Administrator's account privileges. This means that whoever hacked it had the access to the Nuclear Power Plant and anything else attached to the Plant with full rights and permissions to carry out whatever they wanted, or access whatever they wanted.
Furthermore, it was also stated in that article if you care to read it that the equipment and operating systems on those servers and their clients are out of provider's service/support.
Meaning they are running out dated versions of Windows/Other OS on very outdated machines.
Now shut up and go back to sleep. You are talking to someone with over 20 years experience in IT, including most of the latest servers in the Enterprise, Back End Servers, Networks, etc.

A malware reaching critical computers, can then turn out to be a disaster as well. In Iranian episode; attack actually disrupted centrifuges and caused damage in real time. As Horus said, shutting down reactor is not some kind of normal thing until & unless, threat is bigger than the usual one. What this episode reminds me about a reported item by well reputed outlet that ISIS been looking for some kind of Missile Tech/mass destruction weapons. In parallel of possibility as such; how can one ignore the fact that such biggest disaster can be happened even though terrorists don't have missiles... in-fact they can use such way gateway to harm more than ever before. Not to so long ago, India been running malicious campaign against Pakistan and our security system which is now acknowledged by all the top notch firms as well as US/West that we have the most safest security for Nuclear Power and then, we read yet another story of India's unsafe Nuclear handling as well as a highly dangerous breach like this.
