Wars do not start just like that there are certain circumstances and background which lead to war. I will refer to PTVs program "Ay Rah-e-Haq Kay Shaeedo" aired on 6th Sept 2013, where war veterans give actual account of war.

If Pakistan started the war why Aziz Bhatti was given Nishan e Haider. And why indian Army assumed that they will be able to have breakfast in Lahore Gymkhana. It is because a very limited number of soldiers were deployed at BRB. There was nothing behind that. Maj Aziz Bhatti kept Indian army engaged, with his small company, till the time reinforcement reaches. In recognition of this effort he was given NH. Over the period of time people within our ranks have started promoting this false impression.

The weapons visible at the front are G-3 rifles and these were not used by Pak Army in 1965
