So Karan.1970 decided to zoom in on the paragraph where it mentioned a Muslim insurgency in Mindanao for no reason? Isn't it obvious he was indicating that he blamed Muslims for the violence? My response was based on what I assumed and still assume to be him pointing towards a particular religion and blaming it.

RIP to the unfortunate ones. But this cycle of violence will never end. Christian Pinoys are too corrupt and greedy and Muslim Pinoys are too violent. Just look at the history of Islam, Christianity and Mindanao and you will see that violence has been integral to its fabric. After Aquino steps down in a few years, some corrupt and greedy Pinoy will become president and the whole cycle begins. The Pinoy society has some serious issue as a whole. A Pinoy friend told me Pinoys suffer from "crab mentality" or the propensity to bring down their fellow citizens in order to selflessly uplift themselves.
