Why should he? He is not at fault, rather the SCUM he is surrounded with. Surely you can't doubt his intelligence, wisdom, integrity and vision.
After 2g, CWG, Air India, refusal to distribute free food food grain to the starving, Rs. 32 a day 'rich' level (thanks to his 'friend' Montek Singh Ahluwalia), Gilani a 'man of peace', resumption of dialogue process with Pakistan, trying to dilute 'RTI', obstructing a strong anti-corruption law, inflation, black money, retaining Chidambaram as Home Minister, Kapil Sibbal (according to whom there was not even a 2g scam), CVC PJ Thomas appointment and countless other issues, I doubt almost everything about this guy.
He is not a leader. Not at all.
Nobody can force you to do things you don't really want to.
You can always say no.
You can always resign.
You can always keep your conscience clear.
This man has refused to keep his conscience clear.
It is our misfortune that we have him as our PM.
He cannot escape his responsibilities by saying 'it's not my fault' or 'main majboor hoon' every other day.
Sometimes, Mr. PM, the head of the family has to stand up and be counted.
He has failed. Totally failed.
Degrees and awards don't make one a leader. Leaders are made of men of substance, something this guy utterly lacks.
