. .
in title you must tell it as "Singapore getting ready for Deepavali" not Diwali...

Both are same.

Just as a buck & a dollar & a greenback.
A British pound & pound sterling or GBP

Bachelors degree alone wont help the likes of you.
Go for the masters. Better still, do PhD boy.

. . . . .
What is the Singapore Tamil's bearing here on PDF?
The thread is NOT opened in Singapore's site.

Ramzan or Ramdan is same.
Who are you to teach Muslims on this?

Similarly.
Same shik applied to Hindus.

. . . .
It might have been the original name of the festival , changed to suit the British pronunciation I believe.

Deepavali is original Sanskrit root used by South Indians still and also some Bengalis.

Diwali is shortened north indian version.

Also main cultural difference is different between north (Ram's return) and south (Krishna victory over Narakasura).

Also why the main firecracker day is one day earlier than the North.

Also why it was not a huge festival in South compared to North traditionally (though now its quite big in South).

This continues to large extent in Kerala for example (where Deepavali is celebrated with big fanfare only by non-malayalis generally).

i know these silly things, i ask why you dont mention my Singapore in the title

Why waste time on a known false-flagger?
