So 12 were sent free? That's why SG should have processed them.

Singapore doesn't care about terrorism targeted at Bangladesh that much.

If these guys were planning something within Singapore or South East Asia (or even India or something like that)...then they would have handled them very differently I think.

Singapore should start screening Bangladesh migrants much more however....and preferably bring them in as a last resort.

I guess we will see the exact backlash in the months and years to come.

Seems to me SG were trying to wash their hands of the whole thing by deporting them back. Any news of them since? They should have given them a few goes on the Singapore Cane at any rate.

The whole world was outraged at that decision as they were very likely framed. This includes the family of the girl you mentioned who rejected the verdict.
