Now thats interesting!!!
Oh my!
That makes sense. So is sindhri not exported at all?
Not a lot,
It is exported in raw form, and then made to mature in the storage sheds.
That means since the fruit is prematurely picked; it will have less sugar.
It is a privilege to be able to savor a mango naturally ripe on the tree.
It is a very very delicate fruit, even within Pakistan we get the fruit artificially made to ripen.
Like I mentioned before, the sugar content is very very high, and it has an extremely thin skin.
Even a hint of moisture is enough to destroy the skin and then the fruit in a matter of hours.
Following pictures should explain.
The artificially ripened product sold in market.
Btw, 1 mango is between 300 -600 grams.
