And to think Congress almost gave up this land. Why do you Indian posters continue to argue your case? Forget it, there is no way in hell after what Pakistan has done. Both India and Pakistani narratives are based in national interest at the expense of the Kashmiri people.

The biggest problem is not the territory but millions of family members who are divided on the both sides. Maintaining a status quo is criminal.

It shouldn't be for India or Pakistan to decide the fate of LoC alone. Kashmiri people need to make that call through an internationally arranged free and fair referrendum.

If LoC becomes a border, it would have to be demilitarized. Visa less travel needs to be made possible that Kashmiri people can see their loved ones and conduct trade.

Just like Indians and Pakistanis decide the fate of their lands, so should the people of Kashmir decide the destiny of their land.

You well know that that is never going to happen and is a non starter. Converting the LoC into an IB is the only solution with complete autonomy to both sides of Kashmir except foreign affairs and defence.

Information asymmetry for the past 60 years has led to this massive distrust between the two neighbours...it's hard to change the mindset of current generation...
Both countries should open their news media for each other.....people will self select the piece of information they want to trust....May be the next generation would find a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue..

in south india especially in kerala linguistic/cultural bonding plays more than religious ties...muslims are not a separate race/ethnicity like in north india..they are as much malayali like rest of us...kerala muslims are tend to be endogamous and don't even marry outside muslim groups,that includes your illegal bangladesh muslims..they will be the first ones,who will kick these illegal bangladeshis from kerala....

they are my brothers as long as they speak malayalam....
actually bangladeshis are far less in kerala than neighboring south indian states,thankx to lack of industries/job opportunities in kerala..
