Horrible attack. RIP dead people. I was seeing CNN yesterday, and saw that they were trying to attribute the attack to Hindu-Muslim aggression against Sikhs, even though the perpetrator was neither.

The shooter was killed by police not for sikhs but because he shot a police officer.
The outcome would have been very different if a police officer wasnt shot.
There have been multiple incidents in USA whre caucasian murderers of ethnic minorities have got away with it.

It's a true fact most Americans can not distinguish a Sikh from a Muslim. I remember a few cases soon after 9/11 where Sikhs were attack by mobs in NYC and they had to yell out that they '' are not Muslims but Indian Sikhs".
